Term 1 – ‘St Cergue Nature trail’
The class 6 expedition (1st and 2nd November) took place in the forestry and mountains surrounding St Cergue. This gave the opportunity to explore an area relatively close to the school with fantastic views over Lac Lemon and the high mountains of the Alps. Over 2 day the students partook in a treasure hunt, camp fire activities, lantern making and an ascent of La Dole. The accommodation was good, even if the students found it a bit spooky; the location was great and we were very fortunate with the weather.
Term 2 ‘Snow shoe around Moleson’
A 2 day winter expedition to experience snow shoeing and to discover nature in a winter environment.
Term 3 – ‘The underworld’
A 2 day musical expedition to the caves of Vallorbe. Composing a piece and playing to an audience.
