Class 5 have started the winter term with a snow shoeing and sledging expedition. They visited the toboggan park for an exciting start. Attended a talk on safety in the mountains and had a team challenge searching for buried ‘victims’ to rescue them from the snow. The first day finished with a sculpture competition and HUGE snowball fight.
On Sunday we had great conditions for a challenging snowshoe above the town of Leysin. This finished in a secluded cafe for a hot chocolate before a quick descent on sledges.
Yet again the students gave their all and were great representatives for Le Rosey. A special thank you to all the staff that made the weekend possible – Mr Bowman, Mrs Newbury and Ms Walker.
Thank you for another great expedition!
