Over the weekend Class 6 visited the Jura mountains aiming to complete a mutli-activity nature trail and summit the Dent du Vaulion. During the nature trail they hunted for leaves, trees and mushrooms; rode mountain bikes; tried slack lining and attempted to protect an egg with only natural materials. The day ended with an incredibly clear night, with fire to sit around and cook on. Later in the evening we focused on some british traditions surrounding the story of Guy Fawlks.
On Sunday we were up early to start our ascent of the mountain, it was a hard 2.5 hours of climbing, but we were rewarded with some magnificent views from the top! There was a cloud inversion covering lac Lemon with Mt Blanc standing proud in the distance. We descended to Le Pont for a well-earned meal overlooking the lake.
Every member of staff gave wonderful feedback on the students. They were a pleasure to take away and represented the school in the best possible light. Please commend them for their efforts; there were some very challenging moments for all of them.
WELL DONE CLASS 6!
