An expedition where weather and conditions dictated what was possible in the mountains and class 4 had to show flexibility and adapt to achieve their objective by a different method than planned. Class 4 set off along the ridge line of the Wispile in deep snow to get to Gsteig, instead of air boards they had snowshoes and sledges to make the journey possible. A lot of fun was had along the way trudging through deep snow, sledging down steep slopes and snowball fights wherever possible. It was a good challenge for the students and most were very relieved to make it to the restaurant. Unfortunately it was impossible to make the igloos for the night in the powder snow so students will have another chance later in the term when we will have enough snow. Well done for your adaptability to conditions.
